The Wizarding World offers thrills and family-friendly fun all in one place, with two main attractions in the area.
This is a ride you won’t mind standing in line for. The main queue for this ride weaves you through Hogwarts castle, where you can travel through the famous rooms within Hogwarts. See the Room for Requirement, the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, Dumbledore’s Office, and the Gryffindor™ common room. You’ll also see various trinkets from the series scattered throughout the castle, like the Sorting Hat and pictures that interact with you hanging on the walls.
Then, soar around Hogwarts with Harry, Ron, and Hermione while riding your broomstick. You will explore the grounds around Hogwarts and make your way into the forbidden forest, where adventure lurks around every corner. Be on the lookout for intense encounters with the characters and creatures from the Harry Potter series.
Learn the basics of proper Hippogriff etiquette from Hagrid. Then, hop on board as you fly around Hagrid’s house and gardens. This is a family-friendly ride and Universal Studio Hollywood’s only outdoor roller coaster.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter offers a variety of dining options, and the ability to quench your thirst with plenty of Butterbeer™!
The restaurant is one of the two table-service dining locations at Universal Studios Hollywood. This cozy, snow-capped inn is the first place where Harry Potter™ tried Butterbeer™ and is a popular eatery for witches and wizards alike. Cast iron chandeliers and ancient wizarding artifacts round up the decor inside. The restaurant serves traditional British fare like Shepards Pie and its signature dish called “The Great Feast.” The feast includes a two-course meal featuring roasted chicken, spare ribs, corn on the cob, potatoes, and fresh vegetables that feeds four people.
A stuffed hog known for snorting at guests who order at the bar is the icon for this quick-service tavern located in the back of The Three Broomsticks. It’s a quick pick to get your Butterbeer™ fix along with Pumpkin Juice™, Gillywater, beer, wine, and spirits. They also offer specialty drinks as well, like their exclusive Hogs Head™ brew.
There are also a few snack vendors located throughout the land and several Butterbeer™ carts, so you’re never far from getting this delicious wizarding drink.

Watch as Hogwarts takes on a life of its own with two projection shows that happen intermittently throughout the evening. The projection shows highlight the different Hogwarts houses and dare imagine what would happen if Death Eaters took over Hogwarts, all set to John Williams’ musical score from the movie series.
Enjoy as representatives of the Hogwarts houses perform an a capella medley of wizarding tunes along with their bass-singing frogs.
Help students from the three wizarding schools, Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, and Durmstrang, cheer on their competitors in the Triwizard Tournament as they display what their schools are known for.
